The ultimate objective of your teaching is that genuine learning is occuring, and a love of the instrument is being fostered.
As teachers we tend to be highly reflective beings. So the questions upon reflection that we should ask ourselves at regaulr intervals are: 1) “Is genuine learning occuring?” and “Am I fostering a love of this instrument?”
